Custom Home Builder in Iowa City, North Liberty & Coralville

Kerkhoff Homes was founded by Jared Kerkhoff in 2000 and is based in Bettendorf, Iowa, where we have built custom homes and developed communities for more than two decades. Today we bring that same experience to homeowners in the Iowa City area.

Every home is uniquely designed to reflect your lifestyle and preferences, built with high quality materials and finishes by craftsmen with decades of combined experience. Custom builds start at $800,000. Meet our team and see our craftsmanship standards.

Whether you own a lot in town or acreage outside Iowa City, North Liberty, Coralville, or Solon, we can build your custom home on it. We start by learning about your property and goals, then design a floor plan and build a transparent budget around it.

Our process is built around clear communication. We start with a conversation about your vision, needs, and budget, work with you to create the right floor plan and design, develop a detailed and transparent construction budget, then manage construction and provide ongoing service after move-in. It is the same approach we have used for every Kerkhoff home since 2000, and it works whether your homesite is in a neighborhood or on acreage outside town.
